I was a bit dubious to read on the front cover "could well be his best book yet" and suspected that maybe the author was actually running out of ideas especially as he had set the story six months before the first book in the series began. I suspected that the comment was a last ditch attempt by the publisher to promote more sales and the author had to hit a deadline with a new book.

Ye of little faith, I actually really enjoyed it! It is possibly one of my favourite Reacher books in the series so far!!!
