Second in this series which I have painstakingly mooched. Preacher's story, (as well as Rick and Liz) - and a good story it is.

The above comment from when I read this in 2012 still holds.
I've now been able to re-read this as a library book - glad to do so as I like being able to compare the books to the Netflix series and see where things diverge. As with the first, I prefer the slightly less violent form taken in the books. Yes, there is violence in them, but compared to the high drama of the series - which I do appreciate - this is more my cup of tea.
