Found this book enchanting. Birdie is to return to her family's summer home with her daughter Chess for a week in the summer before Chess's wedding. Chess cancels the wedding, her sister Tate comes as well, as does Aunt India. All are in the throes of their own love problems, but the beautifully evoked life on Tuckernuck Island works its magic on them, and on me!
