A nice little distraction. Although it's author claims it can be a "stand alone" book, I think you need to have read the series to REALLY get it. That being said, I liked it, a lot, but it was too short. I wanted more. Even though I felt satisfied with The Dark Tower series ending, I know many people didn't, if the author is going to bother putting out another book because the characters have more to say, then I want the characters to say more. I'm just greedy like that. :-)
