I received this great book today as part of the Wishlist Tag Game, thanks so much for "tagging" me! I am really looking forward to reading it and then it can continue it's travels.
Kate Chandler is a gem cutter whose brother was killed when acting as a courier for a group of gems she cut, brilliant sapphires known as the Seven Sins. Special Agent Sam Groves is on a special task force trying to figure out who is roughing up gem couriers and stealing the contents of their deliveries. When Kate tries to get the FBI to look into her brother's death, she gets a death threat of her own, and no one at the FBI will take her seriously except Sam.
A good read mystery thrown in with romance and the first in the Rarities series, although you do not have to read one before the other.

How wonderful to see all the Bookcrossing friends that have made the journey of this book to me. Thank you!
I am not quite sure why I chose this book out of the travelling book box, perhaps it is the large print? These eyes of mine have been reading way too much small print lately.
Stay safe and well!

I had no idea what to expect with this book but it was not bad at all. The writing isn’t stellar about murders, the jewels that supply our chain jewelry outlets in the malls, a robust and dedicated FBI agent who falls madly and lots of lust for the step-sister of a missing courier of large sapphires.
I think that I should look at some sapphires now in one of those jewelry stores.

This book will be sent shortly to my partner in the 2022 Valentines Day exchange.
Happy travels, little book!
