A young Amish girl gives birth to a baby which she deny's having, although there is proof she is the mother. The baby is found dead and she is accused of murdering it, which she also deny. Things are handled differently in the Amish world from the way they are handled in other cultures and she does penance for her supposed crime. A very interesting book. Thanks for sharing friend!
