Tony Hillerman's books are like Chinese food for me. While reading them, I enjoy them immensely, but once finished, I have a hard time remembering exactly what happened. This could be me. I am not an afficianado of mysteries. But I love the Dine (Navajo) characters and I always come back for more. As a Florida girl, nothing seems more exotic to me than the western location of these books. They fascinate me and I love them.
