I took this with me when I visited the OBCZ (during my short trip to London). I have been wanting to read something by this author, so I couldn't resist picking it up.
Funny coincidence, I just finished a book that somehow sounded kind of similar to the desciption for this book, a young English woman going on a secret mission to Occupied France during WWII, and her lover is an airman missing in action (the other book was The Light Behind the Window).

Was kind of disappointed with this book. I couldn't get into it at all and gave up, the characters were flat and the writing felt sloppy.

Maybe someone else will like it better..
