Intriguing whodunnit, with a curious cast of characters and a scary premise of an island where different rules apply.

The detective starts with an assumption - a logical one - but by the end of the book, his assumptions are turned upside down as he discovers something very different to what he thinks he was going to find.

A good page-turner and well written.
