Dear Maeve
3 journalers for this copy...
This is a collection of articles Maeve Binchy wrote for the Irish Times - she's much better known as a novelist outside Ireland, but is also a wonderful journalist. This is off to Dawni on Friday - hope you enjoy it!
Received in the mail today as part of a wonderful package of RABCKs from Hero - thank you so much! This is one of Maeve Binchy's books that's been on my wish list for awhile, but is out of print, so I'm extremely grateful to be able to read it.

This series of articles was very different from Maeve Binchy's usual writing. I enjoyed the change of pace, and felt almost as if we were sitting down and chatting over a cup of tea. While I didn't always agree with her take on things, for the most part I felt her advice was sound and sensible. She's the kind of person I'd love to get to know!
I'm going to mark the status of this book as "permanent collection" for now, but I'll be sending it out on a bookring with a couple of other MB books in the future, so the status will change at that point in time.

My mom caught the book on a park bench in Beacon Hill Park. She snuck it in the mail to me at Christmas. I am having a hard time with it, but normally love Maeve's books, as usual I will perserveer and I have a gut feeling it is going to wonder up and down my street for all my book club friends to read, then we'll celebrate a big release, keep your eyes posted.
