I love this book, the wit is sublime. I probably read it every 2 or 3 years. My husband calls is my comfort reading. I'm now reading it with my nine year old daughter, to stretch her vocabulary. She likes it, but cannot imagine parents wanting to get their daughters married off!! I have several copies of this book, so we've released this copy to the "book swap box" at a local school.
