Ok, so I may be biased about this book. I read it during a Europe trip, mainly while on the trains, and it has great memories for me. But, it truly is a fun thriller. Not only do you get the "mystery" fix, Carr throws in some fascinating historical tidbits. All in all a fun read, and more satisfying than "The Alienist".
