This book has been on my bookshelf for months (I bought it for 10p at a library sale) and I have only started reading it now because it has been requested.
I should have read it months ago - it is a great book. It is very hard to put down and I feel that I know the characters. I've never read Douglas Coupland before but intend to read more of his books. Will update when I've finished.

It did not take me very long to read this book, more owing to Midland Mainlines sunday train service.
From the outset I was drawn into the characters and becuase I was a child of the 70's [very young one] I could relate to the whole backdrop. I really like how all the charcters could be a montage of 70's , 80's and 90's sitcoms and movies.
The story itself is sweeping and fast paced and the message is very clear, but you'll have to read it to know, or you can always ask :)
I think JemimaJ did well to get this book for 10p
