I received this in the mail yesterday from Angie in MD (sent through Amazon) ... as part of Read-n-Swap yahoo group MOTM (Member of the Month). My daughter wants to read this too.

I finished reading this with my daughter (mistyjoy11) on 10/28. Its a little bit different than the movie, with more involvement from her father. Its very funny in spots with the typical teenager drama attitude. I was laughing out loud often. I hope to read the 2nd book in this series as well.

Got from cyber-librarian for the read the book/watch the movie project we are doing. The book was in NY with father ill. The movie was in San francisco with the father dead.
But it was a cute read. This 9th grader was having the normal prblems of flat chested and flunking Algebra. Then she finds out she is a princess. Has to go to princess lessons and have a body guard. It was a fast hard adjustment for her and her friends.
