Thanks for the amazing bookshelf, klaradyn.
Enjoyed reading the short stories and will write more as soon as I have decent Internet access...
Carried Away
A Real Life
The Albanian Virgin
Open Secrets
The Jack Randa Hotel
A Wilderness Station
Spaceships Have Landed
Vandals
Eight short stories, but it felt more like reading eight novels: A story within a story, told from different perspectives, covering almost a lifetime. And the stories raise a lot of questions without giving the answers. That will give you lots to think about. I thoroughly enjoyed this intriguing read.

Journal Entry 5 by Horinkie at Trinkhalle in Baden-Baden, Baden-Württemberg Germany on Tuesday, October 16, 2012
I was tickled pink (for a number of reasons: only read English, lover of short stories, my name sprang out at me from one of the pages) to find this book in the Trinkhalle in Baden-Baden on October 16th. Have taken it home with me and will now start reading.
Journal Entry 7 by MadameMaigret at Herford, Nordrhein-Westfalen Germany on Sunday, January 20, 2013
I visited the exhibition in MARTa-Museum in Herford and found the book on a shelf for brochures and cultural information. It immediately caught my eye because I'm a great fan of Alice Munro. I have already read the book in German and I am anxious to read it in English now. Plus: this brings me back to bookcrossing which I haven't practiced for 8 years! Thanks!
