I received this book from the library sale to read and or release, I don't know which yet!

The style of writing wasn't what I was used to, but going from person to person lets the reader see everyone's side of the story. It takes place on the small island of Nantucket. Four couples have formed a friendship that now is threating to dissolve after the death of one of the couples in a boating accident. Was it an accident or was something or someone else to blame? You'll get taken back into the lives of the members of each couple and into the present day after the deaths. A good read!

What a wonderful surprise today in my mailbox! A rainy day made bright. :) Thank you for sending me a wish list book in the tag game love2cook. I have recently become a fan of the author and am devouring her stories. Happy dance to my Mt. TBR.

Basic description of the novel is that Tess and Greg MacAvoy are one of four Nantucket couples. They are good friends and neighbors. In the beginning of a summer, Tess and Greg are killed during a sail. Their friends are mourning the loss but there are a lot of secrets revealed in the mourning process.
Elin Hilderbrand is an author that is fairly new to me. I have read two novels and enjoyed both immensely. I was so excited to get a copy of this title and opened it, ready to devour. I was not to mesmerized by this one. But I believe it is because I recently finished another book with a similar storyline. But once I was several chapters into this one, I realized that it was not the same story and I honestly enjoyed the read. I like how the author bounced back and forth between characters so you could see how each dealt with their grief and with some guilt as well.
I am looking forward to the next novel from my stack of Hilderbrand to-be-reads. I recommend this author and title for anyone wanting a good story.
