Another book that has re-appeared at the RNLI College, this time only after a month seeing the sights of Poole. Re-released.
Sent to rainbow3 who'll be heading up to the northern islands of Scotland with some books from the very south of England spreading the RNLI word.
Huge thank you’s to rnlicollege for this great book swap, and apologies for this delayed - book catch - journal entry. I picked this up in Aberdeen at my Mum’s on June 6, 2012, and, woo hoo, popping a RNLI bookmark into it I tucked it into my luggage for release on holiday.
I didn’t have time to read this novel though as this author is a favourite of mine I have my own copy of ‘The Hand That First Held Mine’ and will return here in the future with some notes when I get a chance to read this.

WILD RELEASE NOTES:
On Thursday, June 21, 2012 around 16:00, I left this book in Orkney, while on holiday. My mum and I enjoyed a tasty all day breakfast, in the Hoxa Tearooms, South Ronaldsay, while marvelling at the stunning sea views out the wide windows of this sparkling addition to the local community facilities. It seems the tearooms are popular with the locals and visitors alike and were busy with custom. We found our visit coincided accidently with the visit of relatives for we in two separate parties both decided to visit the new tearooms on the same day.
Flotta (Oil) Terminal can be seen in the distance and while we ate I was thrilled to see the Pentalina passing. It’s a catamaran passenger ferry which operates in the summer months, between St Margarets Hope, South Ronaldsay to Gills Bay, Caithness. An exciting sight for me as I have never travelled on it nor seen it underway, I have though seen it moored at the pier in St Margaret’s Hope. In addition to the ferry and a passing Royal Navy vessel plenty of walkers were to be seen walking around the cliff tops looking at sea birds and or the WWII gun placements still visible on this windy headland.
After alerting the tearoom’s owners to the adventuresome nature of bookcrossing and asking permission to leave a book I left this book on a windowsill. With luck I’ll work out how to pop my hastily taken photo on this release entry. Here’s hoping the book has been passed around and will travel with one of the tearoom visitors elsewhere.
This was a holiday with way more medical incidents than was preferable [though all seems on an even keel now] and access to wi-fi zones was continually just out of my grasp, so I’m happy to at last post some notes of where this book was released.

If you've found this book and you're new to this, (((welcome))) to bookcrossing! Please, once ready, pass this book on to other readers to keep it travelling!
Leaving books in cafes, waiting rooms, public areas with information stands, and sheltered places (plastic bags are useful here) in beauty spots makes for great surprises for others! HAPPY READING!
