Not exactly my cup of tea ... Though I suspect that was my own fault, really. I read the book when I had already seen the movie, so I knew the major turning point, the clou, as it were, from the beginning. And the descriptions of the injuries were just a teensy bit too graphic for my liking ... Still, I'm sure that someone less whimsical than me will enjoy the read, since it's a well-written book. And you learn some interesting ways to make nitro-glycerin. Haven't tried them, though, so no guarantee they work ...

Update April 2012: I released this book Easter 2012 in Giant's Causeway, Northern Ireland on my way to the World Bookcrossing Convention in Dublin..

Well written As I read the book after watching the movie I couldn't help but picture the scenes from the movie as I progressed through the book. However this didnt spoil the reading experience.
