CONTROLLED RELEASE NOTES:
Hope you enjoy this book as part of your birthday/wedding package. I had fun trying to find books for you!
So what did hubby say when you sent 22 books to one person? haha! I wish I had a good used bookstore around here so I could spoil you as ruthlessly. ;-) This one is another one I am taking under recommendation from a fellow Bookcrosser.
Meh, it was alright. Really it was complete chaos. It took me a while to realize that the author was intentionally skipping along/ahead with her/the characters thoughts...there were several times I caught myself checking to see if a page was missing before I realized it was an intentional leap forward leaving the reader to guess at what had occurred in the meantime. It was entertaining enough to read, with some humor and some, other stuff, but really chaotic. I'm guessing that's what the author wanted to get across but it was hard to follow at times. Sometimes the pace of the writing was so fast I had to re-read what I had just read to figure out what had happened. Sometimes the pace was normal. The main character seeming to be the "normal" one in this dysfunctional family. It was ok not bad not great. Will be passing it along shortly.
