Cover blurb:
Nestor and Nathan Kiklu are the twin sons of Harry Keogh, the Necroscope. United by blood, they also share some of their father's awesome powers--but what they do with those gifts cannot be more different!
Nathan takes up the struggle against the metamorphic vampires, while Nestor, fascinated by the vampires' eerie evil, has become his twin's worst nightmare: a Wamphyri Lord!
Harry Keogh's sons have become the bitterest of enemies, each determined to destroy the other. When next they meet, one will surely die!

Another great volume in the Necroscope saga! Again, I found myself just blown away by Lumley's talent! Great stuff! And as has been the case since I started the series, I waited about a year before getting to this one. Such a cliffhanger, more so than Blood Brothers, I don't think I will wait quite that long this time...
This book continues right where Blood Brothers left off. We journey with Nathan after his being thrown into the "Hell Lands" gate, and get a lot more in detail on Nestor's story and experience as Wamphyri! And a very big laugh out loud moment for me towards the end (highlight space to see, spoilers below):
In the epilogue where we see the Lords of Turgosheim practicing and preparing for their journey across the Great Red Waste, as I was reading the description of the flying exhibition and their own pride, all I could think was "Man, this is a Wamphyri Pride Parade!!!"
