FInding a memoir/non-fiction book by Jonathan Franzen for only $6.99 at BMV was a treat. I think "The Corrections" is one of the best novels I've ever read. From the back cover: "In this comic memoir of self-consciousness, the author of 'The Corrections' tells the story of his life and of the strange country in which he's lived it."
The Boston Globe says: "At once elegaic and unsentimental, mournful and joyful...the most intimate glimpse into the author's interior life."

Hmmm....I was thinking of taking this to Harbord House Pub today (our official OBCZ) but I think I'll see if I can get through it by the end of 2019!!!
I hadn't heard of this book by Franzen before today's BookCrossing meetup at Harbord House. Bookgirrl isn't sure she wants to part with it so I've agreed to read it and bring it back so she can reassess her attachment to it.
