It is kind of fun to read about a fictional American hero who always wins. Guys with guns, no problem. Women with mad knife skills with said knives in their hands, no problem. NYPD after him, no problem. Feds after him, no problem. Blood and gore, washes off. Guilt, not much. Memories that might drive another mad, not much of a problem. Jack Reacher is kind of like a killing machine, but only bad guys and girls. The rest of y'all normal people get to live cause Reacher is making the world safer one bad guy at a time.
