Thanks MsPooh! Looks like a good, suspensful read.

Journal Entry 5 by Maurean from Atlantic Beach, Florida USA on Thursday, December 18, 2003
Well...this was a twisted, macabre little page-turner of a phycho-thriller!! A very suspensful and intivative storyline, definately worth the read.
Actually, Straub is not one of my favorite writers in this genre(I'm more of a King/Koontz/Laymon kinda gal!), but after reading this book, I may just have to give him another chance...I believe I still have "Mystery" somewhere on my shelves!

Thanks so much, MsPooh, for sharing this delightful tale! It will be making its way to Meshe in Georgia by Monday, 12/22.

Came in the mail today, as did another bookring book. Why do all the books have to arrive at the same time. I also have two other bookring books to send on their way. Oh well, so many books so little time. Hopefully I can get to all of them during my holiday vacation. My family will just have to understand that I have books begging to be read!

Journal Entry 9 by butlin from Hudson, New Hampshire USA on Sunday, April 4, 2004
Sorry it took so long to finish this one, but it definitely dragged at parts. At the end it picked up so I sped right through it. It's not one of my favorites by him. I had to force myself through most of it. As soon as I hear back from Kalipriestess, it will be on its way.

Journal Entry 10 by lisabb2 from Grimes, Iowa USA on Monday, May 10, 2004

Journal Entry 11 by lisabb2 from Grimes, Iowa USA on Saturday, June 5, 2004
This was my first Peter Straub book. It had lots of twists and turns but dragged in some spots. I will have to look up more books by this author to see if he is as good as other mystery/thriller authors that I read!!!

Will send this on its way once I get Soraidh's mailing info.

Journal Entry 12 by Soraidh from St. Louis, Missouri USA on Sunday, August 15, 2004
Sorry this journal entry is so long in coming but I wanted to give the book a fair shake... okay and I forgot I had the book for a few days. Sorry!

I can't do it. I've picked it up and read it, even managed to make it to page 100 but I can't finish the book. It's just not grabbing me. In fact, I went and read the end of it just to appease my curiosity and even that didn't make me want to finish the rest of it.

Sending it off to talkland as soon as I have a few more funds (probably early September when loans come in).

A fast paced thriller with plenty of thrills and spills! A family-run publishers faces financial ruin when rumours surface about the real origins of their cult book, 'Night Journey'. However family's troubles get much much worse... one of them, Nora, is kidnapped with a killer taking her on a terrifying ride resembles the story line in her family's publisher's bestseller.
