Looking for a quick read? This book might suit you. Nothing too startling in it, as Higgin's continues with his somewhat formulaic method. But, if you're having to sit in waiting rooms, or taking a long bus journey, or some such, this book is light to carry, easy to read, interesting enough to hold the reader, and reasonably satisfying at the end. I could see these people becoming a cast for a television program.

Something perhaps for a staff member to read over lunch? A break from the mental rigors of dealing with hundreds of primary school students. ;-) The book will be available after 4:00pm today.

I've just read Midnight Runner by Jack Higgins on May 28,2006. I plan on passing it to my daughter who is coming to visit me in July. I'm sending it with her, to her home in Hong Kong. She teachers with people from all over the world. Lets see where it will end up. Forgive me for holding on so long, but the end result will be worth it. This is a MUST READ.
