cover blurb:
'I wish I could get a seat on the tube⊠I hadnât eaten that entire bag of Maltesers⊠I could meet a man whose hobbies include washing up and monogamyâŠâ
Heather Hamilton is always wishing for things. Not just big stuff - like world peace or for a date with Brad Pitt - but little, everyday wishes, made without thinking. With her luck, she knows theyâll never come trueâŠ
Until one day she buys some heather from a gypsy. Suddenly the bad hair days stop; a handsome American answers her ad for a housemate; and she starts seeing James - The Perfect Man who sends her flowers, excels in the bedroom, and isnât afraid to say âI love youââŠ
But are these wishes-come-true a blessing or a curse? And is there such a thing as too much foreplay?
A likeable, magical romantic comedy about what might happen if your wishes really came true. Very much escapism (let's face it girls, we know there's no such thing as the perfect man don't we? lol) but sometimes that's just what you want. It won't convert anyone to the chick-lit genre but if you fancy some light but not too fluffy fun reading this should do the trick :o)

I really enjoyed this book and I couldn't put it down!! I loved the characters, especially Gabe and Lionel. It's true that not always what we wish is what we need or what it's best for us.

A nice chick-lit, light and easy to read.
This wishlist book will now travel to chrissini in Austria :) hope you will enjoy it!!!!
Thank you so much for sending this book, Bjorg! It was so nice to simply decide to forward some books to me. I'm sure I will enjoy reading it very much. :)
And another surprise bonus book.... enjoy ;))
Thanks for this lovely surprise!
Donât think this one will ever be shortlisted for a nobel prize. But in the category of a quick, light & feelgood read, I think it scores quite high.
Heather has quite a normal life, untill the moment she bumps into a gypsy in the street and is given a branch of lucky heather. Suddenly all her wishes come true. The small insignificant ones like âI wish there isnât a queue at Starbucksâ or âI wish they have my favorite sandwish at M&Sâ but also finding a perfect partner or getting her dream job as a photographer.
But obviously, she realises that sometimes itâs not always good to get everything you wish for and that perhaps her granted wishes arenât a guarantee for a happy life. Shocker!
Thereâs also a (slightly predictable) love story and *spoiler* a (slightly predictable) happy ending. Overall itâs a nice easy read.
Will save this one for the chicklit sweeps

This one continues to travel to the lucky winner of the chicklit and chocolate sweeps. I added a few chocolate bars and several bookplates.
I always try to post my controlled releases with real stamps. If you are not a collector yourself, you might want to check out this post on the forum about a stamps sweeps that Iâm currently organising or this one about Bookcrossers who collect stamps. A lot of Bookcrossers collect stamps for charity, so itâs nice to find them a good home!
