1990 Berkley paperback of the 1989 NYT #1 Bestseller. I bought this copy way back when.

1984 The Hunt for Red October [read 2021]
1986 Red Storm Rising [read 2021]
1988 The Cardinal of the Kremlin [read 2021]
Edit January 25, 2022: This was good, but I just skimmed to end for time on this re-read. It's about the drug war. I remember being fascinated by Clancy's revelation of night vision technology back then, which was pretty cutting edge. I currently have this ranked at #6541 on my ranked list of best-read books lately.
