Journal Entry 2 by Sherlockfan at Upper Hutt, Wellington Province New Zealand on Thursday, November 17, 2011
This book arrived safely in Upper Hutt, New Zealand this week as part of a really really nice hand made Christmas Ornament. It will have pride of place on our tree.
Thanks Chubsie Wubsie. I was really impressed with your creative skills and rapt with the teeny tiny copy of one of my favourite books.
I think this book will remain part of my Permanent Collection. Couldn't bear to part with it.

Hi Chubsiewhubsie,
I have just been putting away my Christmas decorations - it is the 6th January here in New Zealand and for the first time I noticed that you had put the BCID number inside it.
It is most definitely one of my favourite decorations and until this minute I didn't realise that it came from you - you are also high on my personal list of favorite Bookcrossers even though I've not actually met with you more than a couple of times. So this is a belated "thank you" in case I didn't write at the time -2011 - and it will not be moving on from here i.e. definitely consider it part of my Personal Collection.
Hope life is treating you well; that you had a peaceful and healthy Christmas period; and wishing you well for a Happy Happy 2002 with many more to follow.
While conventions or unconventions are great draw-cards for me the now elusive dollar restricts my participation. However, I am very much looking forward to April's Convention on the Gold Coast of Australia and hoping that the ghastly fires terrorizing the South East areas of that poor country right now have finally had some healing rains. The photos regularly on our TV are dreadful, destructive, dangerous for wild-life and from this distance there is little one can do. We have one married son with his wife and 2 teen-aged daughters living in Glebe, a suburb Sydney. So far the actual fires are not near to them but there are associated breathing difficulties that bother the girls. Awful.
Take Care dear Chubsiewhubsie and I hope our paths may cross sometime before too long.
Jan, Sherlockfan
