this is a beautiful book...
so simple, so pure, so true...
it was the first book I read in english, so I might have not enjoy it so much as I liked, but it's a wonderful little book...!

Journal Entry 9 by DreaMaker from Figueira da Foz, Coimbra Portugal on Sunday, February 1, 2004
This book came across my life thru my beloved one - gata. She lended it to me during this weekend and last night (it was about 3:30 AM) I looked at it and started reading.

I must say I enjoyed some of the thoughts that Michael Leunig shares with us. I like the idea of looking at animals as our most trustful spiritual leaders. I loved the pyjamas theory. I was touched by the story of the man pleading for punishment to a dog and receiving love instead... And so many more touching stories that, sometimes, made me really think about LIFE!

I recomend this to anyone! It's short and sweet and light. It's the easy reading kind. Try this and then tell us what you think about it.
Recomendo-o a toda a gente!

I enjoyed it, very much!
Eu gostei muito dele!

And charbono, sorry about the infiltration in the bookring. I hope you don't mind... :)
E charbono, desculpa a infiltração no bookring. Espero que não te importes... :)

Now the book gets back to the proper hands - gata's - and it will travel to meet Xanocas, probably tomorrow.

Once again, thanks for these life lessons. Pretty good book!
Bastante bom!

Hello!

I've received the book yesterday. I'll read it asap.

Thanks!

Journal Entry 11 by Xanocas on Monday, February 9, 2004
It's a very sweet book. I've read it last Sunday and I enjoyed some of Leunig's theories.

My favourites: the bucket of water with our reflection that contributes to a better world; the "How to get there" theory and the one with the dog (love instead of punishment; don't pay war with war).

And the drawings are very cute.

On its way to girassol.

Not wishing to WR this much travelled little book either I decided to RABCK/C.R it this morn. Hoping to cheer up a sick friend recovering in hospital who'll leave it there for other patients when she ret. home. Being as it's now labelled absol. to the enth degree someone may think to make a J.E. later on down the track. (Poetry book now on way to mozette.)
