This is a collection of short stories written by Rudyard Kipling, in the late 1880s. They are classic ghost and adventure stories, usually set in India at the height of the Raj. The title story is of a couple of rogues who break away from the ordered society of the time in order to find a tribe of savages who they hope they can awe or con into making them their kings.
