An enjoyable read that is not too demanding. The plot centers around a mysterious amazon tribe and a group of pharmaceutical explorers searching for a miracle medicine. Not a terribly original premise, but some interesting plot twists.
Found it today on the Book Crossing Zone table at the Bodega downtown. I have a photo of it there that I'll upload here. As soon as I'm done with the book I'm reading now, I'll start it. It's in good shape.
Gosh, I thought this was a pretty decent book. Anyway, I left it with my girlfriend's daughter in Berisso, Argentina. Here's a photo of her with it. Fetching lass she is too!
I caught this book in original way, because it appeared unexpectedly, in a friend´s home.
I hasn´t finished yet, but that I road was very good.
