They're called Lincoln lawyers: the bottom of the legal food chain, the criminal defence attorneys who operate out of the back of a Lincoln car, travelling between the courthouses of Los Angeles county to take whatever cases the system thows in their path.

I really enjoyed this. It is one of the few audio books that I have listened to while I drive where I have been disappointed when I reached my destination because I wanted to keep listening. When I got near the end I had to bring it into the house because I couldn't wait until my next journey to find out how it finished. The ending is a bit of a surprise. I like to read my series in order but I've just found out that the next Mickey Haller is also the 14th Harry Bosch book as he's an offshoot character. Just added more book books to read to my list.

Sorting out audiobooks for a bookbox coming my way soon I realise never journaled this...oops!

I enjoyed this audiobook (& it was read by Michael Brandon, a bonus as I have rather a soft spot for him!) It's certainly encouraging me to read more in this series.
I've also got a copy of the book which I think I'll still read, just to see if there is a marked difference between that & this abridged version. Though to be honest by the time I get around to it I probably won't remember...

Received today in a box of audio books from Plum-Crazy. Also enclosed were some labels and a release bag. I have in fact read and enjoyed a copy of this story in a regular format. (I don't personally use e-books but will pass them on to one of two friends who do, due to having sight problems.)

To the finder:-
Welcome to bookcrossing -you have found a travelling book. Please make a journal entry now to say where you found the book in case it has been moved. Then, when you have read it, please come back and make a further entry saying whether or not you enjoyed the book and why. It is now yours to do as you like with it, pass it to a friend or just leave it somewhere different for someone else to find and help it with its' journey. Of course if you can't bear to part with it at the moment then keep it, but please let me know that you have found it. If you join bookcrossing, which is free and spam-free, you can follow the book on its' travels as you will get an email each time it changes hands, but if you prefer to remain anonymous, that's fine too. Please also say what you intend to do with the book next. Thanks for coming onto the site to let me know you have found the book.

I already have books travelling in many countries around the world-a list can be found on my bookcrossing profile.

When re-releasing this book please be aware that airports are not a good place to leave books unless they have a specific book exchange shelf or area, due to security problems, so they may well just be disposed of. Also charity shops may well discard books that have been labelled in any way and they mostly chose only the books in the very best condition
to place on their shelves and discard the rest-so another bad release option.
