Picked up at book sale to read and release
A bit of a slow-burning novel but held my interest and overall I enjoyed it. Will set it aside for release in the New Year - I'm stockpiling for challenges and for the better weather!
Slightly different cover to the one shown.

will be on its way to yorkshire-lass at lunchtime
Thank you, that was a quick delivery! I will add this to my massiver TBR pile so it may bea while until I can get to it.
An interesting book, slow pace, but it had me hooked from the start.
This is now on its way to J4Shaw as part of the UK Wishlist Tag Game, hope you enjoy it as much as I did.
Thank you yorkshire-lass for tagging me with this book and sending it on to me.
This arrived in the mail while I was away in Wales.
Looking forward to reading it.

I found it difficult to read too much of the book at a time. 30 pages or so max in a sitting. But I can't really understand why. The story had me intrigued from the start, and the characters were all very vivid, that its hard to say why I struggled with it so much.
Everything was there in the book, so much so that at times the excessive detail slowed the story down, but it was all there for plot and scene setting.
Thought the ending would've been better 3/4 the way in, and the story to go from there.
There were a few areas that just simply irritated me.
Its a very different book from what I have been reading of late, so it worked as a change. I did enjoy it, and am glad to have read it.
Released 10 yrs ago (7/25/2013 UTC) at Darwin, Northern Territory Australia
CONTROLLED RELEASE NOTES:
Saw in the forums that a fellow Aussie BCer isn't very well at the moment. So am sending this RABCK and some accompanying White Tea in the hope it brings a smile.
Take care.
Today I was busy - and it was a hot day. But on the way home, I collected the mail. I have been expecting a few big things to show up in the mail (big boxes from the UK, from Loey and Dad) but today this book arrived for me.
This was a wonderful surprise! A Get Well Gift from a wonderful Bookcrosser. It's taken a long time to arrive from Darwin to Brisbane, but it got here! And it looks like a good solid read too! I look forward to reading this one! :D
