This book is currently with me on honeymoon in Curacao in the Netherlands Antilles. It has been read on the plane on the way here and whilst relaxing by the pool. This is my first Robert Louis Stevenson book and was easier and more accessible than I expected. I found it quite strange that despite all the hardships David Balfour endures, the book does not dwell so much on his thoughts and feelings - these must've been pretty intense having gone through all this. Strikes me as a boy book!
