It's a new month... time for some new bug fixes!
While Matt is still working on harnessing the book data that we all have contributed to, and making it available for searches, he's also been rather busy fixing other things, and even adding some nifty little features. Read all about it in this Announcements forum post.
One Hundred Names

From amazon.co.uk:
The uplifting and captivating new novel from the worldwide bestseller Cecelia Ahern
Kitty Logan has lost her way…
As a journalist, she’s spent the past few years chasing the big scoops – no matter the consequences. When she makes a terrible mistake, she finds herself mired in scandal, her career implodes and even her personal relationships are tested to the limits.
At a loss, Kitty finds distraction in a list of one hundred names her late mentor and boss, Constance, has left her. Kitty’s been given one final chance, the most important assignment of her life – to write the story behind the one hundred names as a tribute piece to Constance. As she tracks down the people on the list and tries to work out what connects them, Kitty meets some extraordinary people.
Can these strangers’ stories help her finally understand her own?

Brilliant idea for a story!
Somehow this story just doesn't quite kick off.
Too much focus on the research about the names.
The story gets going at the end of the book and is predictable.

Oooooh, an Ahern! Every time a new one comes out, I always hope it to be even better than PS I Love You (could that even be?)... At least her novels usually give you a little escape from reality! Thank you very much for the book, Sobergirl!

Sobergirl already said it all: it just doesn't kick off and then the ending is so awfully hurried with far too obvious solutions. I almost gave up on the book after first 50 pages, but then started skim-reading, not bothering with every single endless, boring, descriptive character build up. The story could have been so much better, the idea on the 100 strangers was a great one, but I felt that Ahern was taking her focus to too many directions at once. I'm starting to fear she'll never write something as entertaining as her first novel...

This was a cute story. But as the previous readers have said, there was too much emphasis on trying to figure out the story behind 100 names and too little pages devoted to the real story, which could have been beautiful.
